 President Pat Nuytten called the meeting to order a 7:07 PM. The treasurer's report was read with a current balance of $1448.70. A motion to accept this amount was made, seconded and affirmed by vote.

Old business: Young Eagles event tentatively scheduled October 11/ 9:00AM to 2:00PM. Pat will have flyers made up for Andy to distribute by September 18th.

Osh Kosh report: Unfortunately for us, but mainly Gerry. mechanical issues with Gerry's aircraft resulted in him being stuck in Dubuque Iowa and not being able to make it to Osh Kosh. Maybe next year., 

New Business: Doug O'Conner will be awarded the Wright Brothers Master Pilot Award by FAA FASTeam representative Dan Vengen. This ceremony will take place at Joe's Italian Restaurant on September 12th 6-8:00PM. Please RSVP Eva O'Conner if you wist to attend and haven't already done so.  

Presentation: Dave Dierker and I showed pictures and talked about our recent flying trip out West to see Meteor Crator, Grand Canyon and some other attractions. 

 Meeting was adjourned at 7:41 followed by some great discussion and refreshments.

Meeting reminder:  September meeting will be held September 16 7:00PM at the Mathis Field terminal conference room. We still need a volunteer to provide refreshments. Looking forward to seeing everyone there and please feel free to forward this message as needed.
