EAA493 Mailing List: Meeting minutes June 17/2025

 President Pat Nuytten called the meeting to order a 7:00 PM. The treasurer's report was read with a current balance of $1448.70. A motion to accept this amount was made, seconded and affirmed by vote. A motion was made to accept the May meeting minutes, seconded and affirmed by vote.

Old business: Young Eagles event previously planned for November may need to be moved to October due to the CAF in training at Mathis during the November time frame. It is agreed that advertising for this event should begin about 2 months prior to when the date for the event is finalized.

New Business: 4th of July fly-in breakfast planned 7:00-9:00AM at Colorado City Municipal Airport. Breakfast is $8.00, but free to pilots that fly in. Also evening fly-in at Ducote Airpark planned for 7:30 evening of the 4th.

Presentation: Pat played the June and May editions of the Chapter Video Magazine which contained good info on the upcoming EAA Air Venture event in Osh Kosh, WI. to be held this July. 

 Meeting was adjourned at 7:35 followed by some great discussion and refreshments provided by Gerry.

Meeting reminder: There will be no July meeting due to Osh Kosh. August meeting will be held August 19 7:00PM at the Mathis Field terminal conference room. Tony will be providing refreshments. Looking forward to seeing everyone there and please feel free to forward this message as needed.
