San Angelo Mayor Tom Thompson and wife as well as several others to celebrate Pat's achievement receiving The Wright Brothers Master Pilot Award..

 President Pat Nuytten called the meeting to order a 7:00 PM. The treasurer's report was read with a current balance of $1448.71. A motion to accept this amount was made, seconded and affirmed by vote. .

Old business: Young Eagles event held in May only drew one participant. Another is to be planned before end of year, probably November time frame. We will work to get the word out better for this event.

New Business: Air races are planned to be held at the beginning of September in Roswell, New Mexico.

Presentation: Pat was officially awarded by FAA representative Daniel Vengen the Wright Brothers Master Pilot Award for over 50 years being a pilot. Daniel also presented Pat with a beautiful hand made plaque commemorating this achievement. Also on hand was Tom Thompson, newly elected San Angelo mayor who presented Pat on behalf of US Representative August Pfluger with a Congressional Letter of Recognition as well a United States flag that flew over the Capitol.  .   .

 Meeting was adjourned at 7:50 followed by some great discussion and refreshments provided by Pat.

Meeting reminder: June meeting will be held June 17/2025 7:00PM at the Mathis Field terminal conference room. Gerry Hatch will be providing refreshments. Looking forward to seeing everyone there and please feel free to forward this message as needed.
