EAA493 Mailing List: Meeting/Christmas party minutes December 17/2024

 President Pat Nuytten called the meeting to order a 6:24 PM. The treasurer's report was read with a current balance of $2076.70. A motion to accept this amount was made, seconded and affirmed by vote. .

Old business:  Young Eagles flights event for 2025 will be held earlier in the year with details on date and time to be discussed at a subsequent chapter meeting soon.

New Business: Annual chapter Christmas party was a success with chapter officer pins and certificates awarded to chapter officers.

 Also, Steve Baker was awarded Chapter MVP because he is a good guy, but also because of his role in making our December Young eagles event a success.

A motion for all current chapter officers to remain in their respective roles for the upcoming terms was made, seconded and affirmed by vote.

 Meeting was adjourned at 6:58 followed by some good food, the Christmas celebration which included a Chinese gift exchange.

Meeting reminder: January meeting will be held January 21/2025 7:00PM at the Mathis Field terminal conference room as usual . Looking forward to seeing everyone there and please feel free to forward this message as needed.
