 President Pat Nuytten called the meeting to order a 7:01 PM. The treasurer's (Andy Spinks) report was read with a current balance of $1041.80. A motion to accept this amount was made, seconded and affirmed by vote. 

Old business: Reno air-races, sad to report two fatalities occurred at this year's event.

New business: It was announced that a fly-in is to be held at F23 the Ranger TX. airport 10/6-8/2023.  

Bob Heiser suggested an effective acrylic glass cleaner for use on aircraft. The product is called Brillianize.

Lawrence Wright, the last living Chapter493 founding member was recognized.

Presentation: Air Force fighter pilot Fil Filburn put on an excellent and detailed presentation on early fighter launched ASAT technology followed by some great discussion and the meeting was adjourned at 8:33 PM.

Meeting reminder:  October meeting will be Tuesday 17/19 at 7:00 PM in the Mathis Field conference room. Refreshments will be provided by Pat Nuytten. Looking forward to seeing everyone there and please feel free to forward this message as needed.
