That picture with Bob Reece's plane and the 170 just above it was Fritz
Meyer's landing at a flyin at my place in the late 70s.
The tail of that plane in the picture is a Bowers flybaby. The plans came out 
in a Mechanix Illustrated magazine from contest of building  planes. I had a 
copy years ago.  A guy from the tel co made it and flew with us and had 
interest in our fuel tank.  I can't remember his name.  The other guy was Allen 
Carpenter who flew a Luscomb. There were 4 of us flying every eeekend
