The August meeting was called to order on August16 2022 at 7:00pm.
There was discussion about the large numbers of people and airplanes at Oshkosh this year. The sign that David Lippe made for our chapter is mounted on the sign-post tree pointing the way to San Angelo.
President, Bob Reece noted that this is Chapter 493's 50th year anniversary.
The minutes of the June meeting were approved. Treasurer Andy Spinks reported a balance of $1088.35 in our account, and that report was approved.
Doug O'Connor reported that Keith Covey flew his first solo flight in an Aerotek. Charles Randall reported that he finally received his kits for his RV 12.
Bob will check on the air races in October.
After a Repairman Courses program video on impulse coupling on mags, we adjourned for refreshments brought by Doug and Eva O'Connor.
Our next meeting will be September 20th. Brad Thompson has volunteered to bring refreshments
