Chapter Roster Management Tool Available for Testing

Tired of managing your roster with a spreadsheet?

The EAA online chapter roster administration tool is ready for some beta testers. If you would like to give it a try, we'll need your chapter roster in an Excel document to be uploaded to the application.

One of the features we are especially pleased with is the ability to add a photo to each member's record and then export the roster for sharing with your members. This will help new members get to know everyone.

If you want to be part of the beta test, email your spreadsheet to chapters [at] eaa.org. Please include your chapter number and a phone number in case we have any questions about your existing data.

Low-Cost Chapter Nametags AvailableLow-Cost Chapter Nametags Available

One of the top ways to improve your monthly chapter gatherings is to encourage all of your members and guests to wear nametags. As Dale Carnegie would say, "There is no sweeter sound to one’s ear than the sound of his or her own name." Nametags will allow your members to make an instant connection with new guests, or help you recall the name of an individual you only see once each month.

EAA now has an affordable nametag option for your chapter to take advantage of, in addition to the premium nametags still offered by EAA Chapter 1095. EAA's standard nametag option will offer your chapter a customized plastic credit card-style nametag. Not only will your chapter city, state, and number be printed on the card, but you can choose either the current EAA logo or the EAA heritage logo. Avery mailing labels are recommended for placing names and titles on the nametags.

The premium nametags offered by Chapter 1095 start at $8.49, but can be discounted with bulk orders. The standard nametags you can purchase through EAA cost $35 per pack of 50, which includes the magnetic backing.

Visit www.EAA.org/nametags to order the premium nametags, or email chapters [at] eaa.org to order than standard EAA nametags.
