EAA493 Mailing List: Heavy Duty project table available

Hello EAA 493 & Ducote Airpark aviators,

Since Pat and I sold our hangar at Ducote we have been house shopping north of Austin and are in the midst of moving. We have listed our home and farm on 2335 at Knickerbocker and need to finish clearing out the house, garage and barn ASAP.

One of the items that I have no place to put at our new place is the 4 foot X 12 foot heavy duty work table that was built as the base for wing panel and fuselage construction. It was framed with heavy duty hardwood, bolts and steel brackets. The top is two layers: 1 plywood (3/8”, I think) and a replaceable top layer of high density particleboard. The legs each have 2 adjustable feet for leveling purposes.  See the included photos for more info.

This table is HEAVY. I suspect that it will take at least 4 healthy adults &/or a large fork lift to load it on a suitable truck or trailer.

It is available to the first party that claims it and can pick it up when Pat and I are at the farm. We expect to be there the next two or three Wednesdays.
