EAA Chapter 493
September 19, 2017
Joe’s Italian Ristorante

The meeting was called to order by Vice President Gerry
Hatch at
7:20 p.m. September 19, 2017
Ted Conrad was in attendance to give a program on his
experience flying the V-22 Osprey simulator and general impression of the
Osprey.
Andy Spinks brought a coworker, Kenneth Ramos who is
interested in getting into aviation. Thanks you to our guests.
Minutes
The August meeting was canceled due to the officers all
being out of town and to the fact that Joe’s Italian Restaurant was also
closed. There were therefore no minutes to be accepted.
Treasurer’s
Report
Treasurer Andy Spinks reported a balance of $1694.17. The treasurer’s
report was unanimously approved, with a motion made by Jim
O’Hara and 2nd by Don Treadwell. Treasurer’s Report was accepted.

Business
Andy Spinks reported that the 2018 EAA calendars are now
available for ordering for the usual $10. The order will be submitted to EAA
after the November meeting.
Gerry Hatch reported that the results of an EAA chapters
questionnaire are available for review and comment.
There being no further business, a motion to adjourn was
made by Andy Spinks and 2nd by Jim O’Hara, the meeting was adjourned
by Vice President Gerry Hatch at 7:32 p.m.
At that time, Col.Ted Conrad, Ret and all around good guy,
gave a program about the V-22 Osprey and his time in the V-22 Osprey simulator.
Don Treadwell and Leroy Anderson videoed the program and
will make it available to those who were unable to attend.
