Hello Flight Enthusiasts,
This is my first attempt to use signup.com to coordinate the volunteers for each shift of the Ford TriMotor visit. Please click on the link below or highlight it, copy and paste into your browser to go to the sign up page that will manage all the shift positions for the Ford Trimotor volunteers.

This is the latest technology that I'm aware of for coordinating all of the volunteer shift positions. We need a Shift Leader, Starter, Crowd Control, and Escort to and from the aircraft. The escort also gives the flight safety briefing. Each shift can draw straws for Leader or just take turns at each position. The Ford TriMotor pilot may decide he wants to pick the starter for each shift. Colin Soucy will be the pilot during the weekend flights. Sherry Finkler will be in charge of selling tickets in the Ranger Aviation WWII Heritage Hangar. Todd Mather will fly the Ford from San Marcos to SJT on Monday, May 15th, arriving mid-day weather permitting.

If if there are problems I will update the sign up site to try and improve the experience. Some of the pilots I have spoken to about volunteering have indicated that they will be out of town for part of this visit. If you are unable to attend I have sent this to you just for your information. Call me at 325 655-4646 or email me if you have problems reserving a spot on a shift. Feel free to sign up for as many shifts as you would like.
Here is the link to the EAA Ford TriMotor Volunteer Training video:

The video describes all you need to know about each volunteer position: Shift Leader, Starter, Crowd Control, and Escort.
Thank you!
