Just checkin... Did you make it back to S&F ?
My Class III went along easy peasy. Dr Smith is not going to do BasicMed physicals but will continue doing Class I, II, III physicals for anybody that wants them. He himself will switch over to BasicMed.
Other than that he looked and sounded just fine. He did sell the 210 and bought a 182. He likes the plane and doesn't need to go fast. Charge is still $90 (cash).
Hi to Jade. See you sooner than later.

Here at Sun N Fun I looked up representatives from both AOPA and EAA about the San Angelo TFR issue. At EAA I talked to Mack
Dickson, described on his EAA card as a Senior Government Advocacy Specialist. He will pass on our concerns to both his higher ups and Rune Duke, the AOPA Airspace expert. At AOPA I talked with TR Proven, Aviation Techinical Specialist. He is the guy Larry
LaBeau communicated with last week. He will also be bringing this up within his organization. Hopefully with these organizations help the TFR gets relocated to a location that does not adversely impact San Angelo (or Ducote or other area) aviation interests.
I also stopped at the Homeland Security booth. The guy there was interested, knew a bit about our TFR, was friendly, but was not much help.
I suggest contacting these people (cc'd above) with comments and concerns.
Mack, TR, we all appreciate your help. And I appreciate your taking the time to talk with me today. Please follow up and let
us know where things stand.

Here is a phone number for AOPA if you would like to call them and express your concern for moving TFR over Ducote Airpark.
