I talked to John Fields and he has agreed to provide hangar space for the Ford Tri-Motor during the May 8 to 15 visit. The WWII Heritage Hangar located between the main Ranger facility and Tom Dufresne's hangar is the best choice. We can set up tables for ticket sales and the Ford T-shirts and caps in the hangar so we will be out of the wind and sun. Loading and unloading passengers can take place in front of the hangar.
John did not think that AV Fuel would give a discount or donation during the visit. The current price is $5.65 for 100LL.
I sent an email to Kristin Busse at EAA Headquarters but I have received no reply.
