Hi All,

I'm sorry, but I have some sad news.  A long time friend, EAA 493 member and past President, George Spinks passed away early this morning in Eldorado. George had beaten three different cancers into remission since 2002. His doctor called him the luckiest guy he knew.  I don't think luck had anything to do with it. George earned every bit of the good things that came to him in this life.

George was so insistent on going to Oshkosh in 2003 that he designed a driving route so that he could get chemo therapy for his first cancer along the way at cooperating hospitals. See attached pic of George and family behind Building "B", I believe.

I will post information about George's Service as it becomes available.

As George would often say.... "I'm glad you had a chance to see me"
