EAA Chapter 493 Meeting, 19th of May 2015 at Joe’s Italian Restaurant, 1601 S. 
Bryant Boulevard, San Angelo, Texas.
Donald Treadwell, President, called the meeting to order at 7:07pm.
The April Meeting Minutes were discussed and approved.
There was no Treasurer’s report to be seen.
Old business: There was no old business to be discussed.
New Business:
There was no new business to be discussed.
The May Meeting was adjourned at 7:12pm.
There was a "Wings" flight safety presentation by John Boatright, the FAA 
FAASTeam Program Manager about "The Land of Lotsagotcha’s."  John reminded us 
to be extra careful when flying near the edge of the sky because that is where 
the radio towers, trees, buildings, and the rest of the Earth is located.  It 
is those items that populate the list of Gotchas in "The Land of Lotsagotchas"
Joe Christian was awarded the Wright Brothers Master Pilot Award from John 
Boatright and the FAA. Congratulations Joe!!
