I haven't been to Spicewood yet.  Eight miles east of Spicewood is Rusty Allen airport at Lago Vista.  Located on the the top of the hills in the area, Allen is 400 feet higher than Spicewood; no worries about terrain avoidance.

Spicewood is just a little further than Fredericksburg.  West of Austin.

$125 for single engine

$150 for a small twin

(one Opie’s lunch ticket given with each wash)
