Bob Reece worked hard all day Saturday to try and repair the stuck valve on the Ford Tri-Motor. He has made some progress but there will be no more flights given on the Ford this weekend. They still plan to fly it to Midland for repairs on Monday.
My airplane has completed the annual inspection and I will be flying Young Eagles at Skyline at 3P.M. Assistance with the Young Eagles flights would be appreciated. They will have the added benefit of touring the interior of the antique Ford Tri-Motor. I estimate there will be 5 to 10 kids who want to fly tomorrow.
If you enjoy showing the public our Ford Tri-Motor you have the opportunity to give tours and talk about the Ford from 9 to 5P.M. tomorrow, and there are usually some who come after 5 to see the airplane.
