Johnny, I saw the notice too late to go. You are right that Jim was a good member and we enjoyed the times at Menard and his and Joan’s home. Missed—YES.

Saturday I noticed in the paper that Jim Minzies has passed away.  He has been in poor condition for several years due to his having MS or something close the that.       

 

Jim was an old member of the EAA. He helped organize and put in several flyins at the Menard airport.  They were good ones, with several contests that we all enjoyed.  Bob Reece and Lawrence Wright will remember these good times, also several other older members will remember Jim and Joan.  He enjoyed flying and helping other folks, he will be missed.
