Don and group,

Unfortunately, I will not be able to join you as I will be shearing Angora goats on Saturday. I do, however, have a red jeep parked in the hangar that anyone who can drive a manual transmission is welcome to use.  a  My hangar is the closest one to the office. Hangar door opens with a push button above and to the right of the walk-in door. Keys to the jeep are in the glove box. The jeep isn't real easy to get in and out of but anyone is welcome to use it!

The Sonora Airport also has a van that is designated for this purpose. Contact Rick Gerlach at (325) 226-2360 to make arrangements. The annual Sonora Fling Ding is that same night and I know Rick has already had some inquiries.

Sure sounds like FUN! Hope to join y'all next time!
Edward

We have planned a Chapter Flight to Sonora on Saturday, January 25th for lunch at the  Sutton County Steak House next to the Devil's River Days Inn and the Sonora airport (KSOA).  Plan to be there by 11:45am, ready to walk about 1500 feet to the restaurant.  This will be a maximum effort with everyone flying with full seats in order to get as many members as we can in the air. So far Don Treadwell and Gerry Hatch are planning to fly with Larry Wedel and Pierce Marschall.  Don Baker will fly his biplane if the weather is warm enough.  The weather is forecast to be 65 degrees on Saturday.  Please reply to this email if you plan to fly there Saturday or if you would like a ride.  If anyone is driving and can provide a ride to and from the Sonora airport for anyone with ambulatory challenges please reply.

Don
