Actually the MailMan package will filter out the duplicate messages. This is one of many options.

Agreed. Especially since âReply Allâ will send two copies to the author (one direct, one via listserv).

Subject: [EAA493] New reflector settings

Iâll bring this up for discussion at the meeting tomorrow, but thought I would post it here to get comments from those that wonât be at the meeting.

The new reflector works differently from the old when replying to a message. When you hit reply on the old reflector, your reply went back to the reflector and everyone could see your reply. On the new reflector, when you hit reply, your reply goes only to the person who originated the message. Iâve been bitten a couple of times by this when I intended for everyone to see my reply.

Bob Heiser says that it is easy to change the settings to make the new reflector work like the old one did. Granted you can use âreply allâ and accomplish the same thing, but I think it would be better to change it so âreplyâ works.
