Thank y'all so much for showing up at the visitation yesterday! I know most of y'all did not know my Dad, but he was very proud of me for my flying passion. He loved that I had met y'all and had gotten the experience around, and in so many neat planes. I wish I could have gotten to talk to y'all a little bit more last night but there was a huge crowd and plenty from the Chapter last night. I have enjoyed the time I have had with y'all so far and there will be plenty more to come. I am planning on getting back in the air soon!  Just wanted to let y'all know that it meant a lot last night and that I am very happy to have met y'all! Thanks

 I have attached the group picture from yesterday that we took in support of the Marschall family.  Tomorrow night we will meet at Joe's Italian Restaurant on South Bryant at 6pm for supper, with the meeting beginning at 7pm.  There will be a presentation of shared stories and pictures of Leon York.  Everyone is invited to bring their favorite pictures on a jump drive or CD.

 

There will be a Squadron Scramble to Sonora on Saturday, January 25th for lunch at the Devil's River Restaurant.  Plan to be there by 11:45am, ready to walk to the cafÃ.  This will be a maximum effort with everyone flying with full seats in order to get as many members as we can in the air.  As Woody said in Toy Story, "If you don't have a flying buddy, then get one!"  Once again the RV pilots are requesting that the Cessna pilots lead the way. (Not.) The Cessna pilots will be leaving earlier in order to fully appreciate the experience at a more sedate speed.
