Hello Alamo Paradise Members,

An update on my mother, Helen Faber-- she is home and doing quite well.  She is beating me at cribbage.  She putters around the house.  She made banana muffins this morning but forgot to put the soda in so although they taste good they did not rise and look funny.  I have to give her a hard time about something.  We plan on heading south for Alamo on Friday, October 27th.  

Mom thanks everyone for the cards, prayers and visits.

Rick received a call from Ram, Rosie passed away on Sept. 26th.  Her funeral is on Friday in Weslaco.  Full notice is on Salinas Funeral Home web page in Weslaco.  Rip Rosie.  Our deepest sympathies to Ram and her family.  Cards can be sent to the park.
