I'm including my brother's comments because I feel he is very knowledgeable on the subject, having been a supervisor at Chevron for many years.

The maps and pictures at the end tell the story.

My brother:

I think everything said is pretty much true, although I’m not sure about the quantity of oil he states.  However, the big problem is that the “greenies” don’t want new drilling anywhere (not just Alaska).  Unfortunately, our President is trying to make the far left happy by stopping pipelines and limiting exploration in the U.S. while asking Saudi Arabia to increase production to help bring down the price of oil.

Then, finally, in desperation, he encourages oil companies to spend billions of dollars to increase exploration and production temporarily while at the same time saying over the coming years, we’re going to reduce our oil consumption by orders of magnitude.

At least many Democrats are now bad-mouthing Biden for his reckless actions and statements.

That's some of my 2 cents

Subject: The Oil of Alaska.

Sent for educational purposes only. This may not fit exactly into the direction that the country is being driven today, but considering the impact to-date, maybe we should not have pulled the plug too quickly.  At any rate, looking at the impact on inflation, maybe we should have adopted a transition stage.

Pictures to aid your thought process versus what you see and hear from the mainstream media.  Anyway, for those of you with differing views, as I said, for educational purposes. I know, I know, but please don’t shoot the messenger.

Friend and former Shell technical manager.

WELL, AL GORE

My daughter and son-in-law were in L.A last week from their home in Anchorage.

He is a foreman in the oil fields at AMWR.

He flies his own plane to the job where he spends months at a time in the most God forsaken place this side of Siberia.

He confirmed everything that is in this story, and brought dozens of pictures for proof.

Our environmentalist friends have forced gas prices up to an impossible rate, forcing us to buy oil from our enemies, for whatever untruthful reason.

There is enough oil in AMWR to supply the US at our present rate of usage for more than 200 years. The space that AMWR occupies in Alaska is equivalent to a postage stamp in the Mojave Desert .

If you won't mind paying $6.00 a gallon, try to make sense of the following:

This is the best presentation on ANWR I have seen.

I would like to add a little more information. A new pipeline across

Alaska isn't required since the location for drilling in ANWR is about

160 miles from the North Slope Prudhoe Bay pipeline where it would

be connected. I did not know this.

Second the wildlife love the pipeline since it is heated and provides a

shelter during the worst times during the winter.

Maybe another question should be asked FIRST do you know what

ANWR is? ANSWER: Arctic National Wildlife Refuge.

Now A comparison

image001.jpg

 And some perspective?

image002.jpg

NOTE WHERE THE PROPOSED                                                                                                                                         DEVELOPMENT AREA IS?

(it's in the "ANWR Coastal Plain")

image003.jpg

THIS IS WHAT THE DEMOCRATS,

LIBERALS AND "GREENS" SHOW YOU

WHEN THEY TALK ABOUT ANWR

and they are right these ARE

photographs of ANWR

image004.jpgimage005.jpg

image006.jpg

ISN'T ANWR BEAUTIFUL? WHY

SHOULD WE DRILL HERE

(AND DESTROY) THIS BEAUTIFUL

PLACE?

WELL THAT'S NOT EXACTLY

THE TRUTH

Do you remember the map?

The map showed that the proposed

drilling area is in the ANWR Coastal

Plain Do those photographs look like a

coastal plain to you?

WHAT'S GOING ON HERE?

THE ANSWER IS SIMPLE

THAT IS NOT WHERE THEY ARE

WANTING TO DRILL!

THIS IS WHAT THE PROPOSED

EXPLORATION AREA ACTUALLY

LOOKS LIKE IN THE WINTER

image007.jpg

AND THIS IS WHAT IT ACTUALLY

LOOKS LIKE IN THE SUMMER

image008.jpgimage009.jpg

image010.jpg

HERE ARE A COUPLE SCREEN

SHOTS FROM GOOGLE EARTH

image011.jpg

AS YOU CAN SEE, THE AREA

WHERE THEY ARE TALKING ABOUT

DRILLING IS A BARREN WASTELAND.

OH--AND THEY SAY THAT THEY

ARE CONCERNED ABOUT THE EFFECT

ON THE LOCAL WILDLIFE?

HERE IS A PHOTO (SHOT DURING THE

SUMMER) OF THE

"DEPLETED WILDLIFE" SITUATION

CREATED BY DRILLING AROUND

PRUDHOE BAY *

DON'T YOU THINK THAT THE CARIBOU

REALLY HATE THAT DRILLING?

image012.jpg

HERE'S THAT SAME SPOT DURING

THE WINTER.

image013.jpg

HEY, THIS BEAR SEEMS TO REALLY

HATE THE PIPELINE NEAR

PRUDHOE BAY *

image014.jpg

*The Prudhoe Bay area accounts for 17% of the U.S.

domestic oil production

NOW, WHY DO YOU THINK THAT

THE DEMOCRATS ARE

LYING ABOUT ANWR?

REMEMBER WHEN

AL GORE SAID THAT

THE GOVERNMENT SHOULD WORK TO

ARTIFICIALLY RAISE GAS PRICES

TO $5.00 A GALLON?

WELL, AL GORE

AND HIS FELLOW DEMOCRATS HAVE

MORE THAN REACHED THEIR GOAL!

image015.jpg

FORWARD

THIS TO EVERYONE YOU KNOW

SO THAT THEY WILL KNOW

THE TRUTH.
