Alden, I'm so very sorry to hear all your troubles.  I often think of you all and wonder how everyone is.  Are you up north or in Texas?  In any case looks like Ann is in for a long haul.  I always pray for all of you and will offer up special prayers for the two of you.  You were/are good friends and I wish you the best.

          When  it  rains  it  pours  yesterday  ANN  fell  Brock  her  hip  and  shoulder.  As  of   now there  has  been  no  surgery  maybe  tonight  yet  or  on  Saturday.  So  it  sounds  like  I  will  be  chief  cook  and  bottle  for  a  while.  I  start  treatment for  my  cancer  around  Aug.  1st  Now  you  know  the  rest  of  the  story.                       ALDEN
