I hope this finds everyone in good health and enjoying the nice warm temperature down there.  Well here it is Friday again.  That means tomorrow I have to fill the pill boxes again.  I thought I just filled them. Time sure does fly by.  It is hard to believe that we have spent about 8 months here already.  Being Friday, I would like to go out for a fish fry tonight, but will have to wait and see.

We had dropping temps yesterday and snow.  We must have received about 2 inches.  That cleaned everything up again.  But, the warm temps dropped to -9 this morning so our January thaw is gone for a few days.  I guess it is still winter, darn???   

We are doing OK, but of course there is all the shopping and Doctor appointments to keep up our maintenance.  Kind of like an old car, it needs lots of upkeep to keep it running. 

I am still feeding the deer and birds.  I must have about 9-10 deer coming in.  We had a redfox in the yard last night. We also have a large coyote that comes thru every several days.  It is a big one so it must be a male.  The dogs go nuts when they see them so we have to make sure we do not let them out for awhile.  The birds around are bluejays and several kinds of wood pecker.  There is also a bunch of small birds.  Yesterday, there was a Pileated woodpecker in our back yard.  So, the birds keep me busy keeping the feeders filled.
