Hi Every One,

I hope this finds everyone in good health.  We are doing OK up here except Helen has the cold-flu that is going around.  I suppose I am next.  For all of you that are enjoying the HEAT of the south, enjoy.  We have 41 this morning and it is suppose to stay this way for the rest of the week.  Some of the night temps will be in the upper 20’s.  This weather is NUTS up here for this time of the year.  In my early years, -10,-20 was common.   Of Corse, I don’t miss those temps.  The lake on our end has been froze over for a couple week and there is enough ice for ice fishermen to be out.  You still have to know the conditions to be safe.  There was a snowmobile that went through a couple days ago in MN.  With the warm temps last night, there is a little water laying on the ice is some spots.  We had some snow earlier, but now the ground is completely bare.  I could go out an mow the grass and leaves.  I don’t miss driving in that traffic down in the Alamo area.  I do miss not having shopping close.  I have 21 miles to get to Hayward witch is the closest town to get good shopping.
