Update on Joe.

Joe has had another week of dialysis every Mon. Wed. & Friday. He is doing

real well. Tuesday, Nov. 22nd, Joe had his Dr. appointment with the surgeon

that will be putting the fistula in his arm. This will be the permanent port for

dialysis.

So this coming week, he has his heart checkup on Tues. Nov. 29th. and then

on Thurs. he will have the surgery on his arm for the fistula at 12.30pm.

The Dr. said he will want us to stay here for at least a week or so, so he can check his

arm before we would leave. So I am praying that it goes real well, both with his heart

report and with the surgery on his arm.

We had a wonderful Thanksgiving, Joe’s youngest sister, had it this year. There

was about 40 there. Lots of good food, and I know we at too much. It was a cloudy

day, but was not real cold, was in the low 40’s, and very little wind. So that was

great. Today we had sunshine and it got up to 54, so I got the rest of my leaves

mowed up and the grass cut short for the winter.

Now, maybe that Thanksgiving is over, things will get back to normal, and I can

start packing, so when the Dr’s release Joe, we can head south.

We have been dancing on Tues. & Thurs. like we always do, and Joe is dancing

up a storm. He feels real good.

Thanks again for all your prayers, phone calls, and cards. We really appreciate

all of our wonderful friends.
