Subject: FW: The Brick--This is so powerful
This has been around before but it is very powerful!!
The Brick--This is so powerfulWe all can learn from this story, like they stop and smell the roses and you won't get a brick thrown at you.The TheBrick!!!THE BRICK PLEASE READ IT!.Read this today anddon't delete it even ifyou are too busy!! You'llsee..THEBRICKA young and successfulexecutive was traveling down a neighborhood street, going a bit too fast in his new Jaguar. He waswatching for kids darting out from between parkedcars and slowed down when he thought he sawsomething. As his car passed, no children appeared.Instead, a brick smashed into the Jag's side door!He slammed on the brakes and backed the Jag back tothe spot where the brick had been thrown. The angrydriver then jumped out of thecar, grabbed the nearest kid and pushed him upagainst a parked car shouting,'What was that all about and who are you? Just whatthe heck are you doing? That's a new car and thatbrick you threw is going to cost a lot of money. Whydid you do it?' The young boy was apologetic.'Please, mister...please, I'm sorry but I didn'tknow what else to do,' He pleaded. 'I threw thebrick because no one else would stop....' With tearsdripping down his face and off his chin, the youthpointed to a spot just around a parked car. 'It's mybrother,' he said, 'He rolled off the curb and fellout of his wheelchair and I can't lift himup.'Now sobbing, the boyasked the stunned executive, 'Would you please helpme get him back into his wheelchair? He's hurt andhe's too heavy for me.'Moved beyond words, the driver tried to swallow the rapidly swellinglump in his throat. He hurriedly lifted thehandicapped boy back into the wheelchair, then tookout a linen handkerchief and dabbed at the freshscrapes and cuts. A quick look told him everythingwas going to be okay. 'Thank you and may God blessyou,' the grateful child told the stranger. Tooshook up for words, the man simply watched the boy!push his wheelchair-bound brother down the sidewalktoward their home.It was a long, slowwalk back to the Jaguar. The damage was verynoticeable, but the driver never bothered to repairthe dented side door. He kept the dent there toremind him of this message: 'Don't go through lifeso fast that someone has to throw a brick at you toget your attention!' God whispers in our souls andspeaks to our hearts. Sometimes when we don't havetime to listen, He has to throw a brick at us. It'sour choice to listen ornot.Thought for theDay:If God had arefrigerator, your picture would be onit.If He had a wallet, your photo would be init.He sends you flowersevery spring. He sends you a sunriseevery morning. Face it, friend - He is crazy aboutyou!Send this to every'beautiful person' you wish tobless.God didn't promisedays without pain, laughter without sorrow, sunwithout rain, but He did promise strength for theday, comfort for the tears, and light for theway.Read this line veryslowly and let it sinkin...If God brings you toit, He will bring you throughit.Pass this message toseven people except you andme. You will receive amiracle tomorrow.( Just do it ! )
