Alert notice to all......from Regina Sask. Rose went into surgery April 9th for left knee replacement and one hour later had a knee repair done. Recovery has gone well and is home at her daughter Lori and her husband Shawn's place also in Regina. She is convalescing quite remarkably and doing her prescribed exercises as written. I was asked to accompany her through the pre-surgery classes and even had a title, 'coach'. It turns out that the term means, 'go-for', 'get-me', 'hand-me', and a pill dispenser. Rose and I returned home from warm sunny Texas early this year to take advantage of the surgery date offered. No complaint about that, but to have to be reminded that this white stuff still exists is a bummer. She will remain in Regina for sometime yet so I can get our trailer on my son Mike and Sharilyn's farm powered up and water in the system. That will take a few weeks yet since the snow is high and the yard is soft. Plus there are a few steps to climb and she needs to be able to negotiate them safely. Shall call you later....Joe Posted to Reflector by: Bob Heiser
